One of her students is currently a member of Texas A&M's Equestrian Team, ranked #1 in the nation. Her specialty is the young horses, breaking/backing and putting the basics of walk, trot, canter and whoa on them. Her career has been diverse, from showing in Europe, competing at horse trials in Virginia, Delaware and North Carolina (under the auspices of William West and the late James A. Cantwell, Jr., Virginia Intermont College, Bristol, Va), hunter/jumper and dressage shows in Texas. Most of her competitive career has been on homebreds she raised herself. Bethe has spent her dressage career being coached by the late Jurgen Mainzer of Hearne, Texas and Ludger Thole of Sporthorse International, Somis, California. Bethe believes that any rider who comes to her, their goals are what is more important. A weekend warrior, an avid competitor, or simply for fun.
